Getting started
Flow tracks the gear, the projects, and the people at a production company — built by one that needed exactly that, then shaped since by what other production companies asked for.
This section is a short, ordered setup path: five pages, done in order, and you'll have your organization live, your gear loaded, your crew invited, and a first project out the door. Work through it with a trial org to see how Flow behaves, or use your own gear and clients from the start — either way you finish with a real, working setup. Everything else in this guide is reference you dip into once you're up and running.
The setup path
- Create your organization — your company's walled-off workspace, set up first.
- Set up your catalogue — categories, models, assets, bulk stock, and kits, loaded in the order they build on each other.
- Invite your team — members who sign in, crew who get scheduled onto jobs.
- Your first project — one lap of the track: create a job, quote it, send gear out, get it back.
- Quick tour — the sidebar, search, and the shortcuts, once the basics are in.
If you get stuck, Mira — Flow's built-in assistant — answers questions from inside the app, and this guide is searchable from any page.
